The ceremony from pre-Christian times still marks the cosmological 'real' New Year for dedicated followers, before the calendars changed in the 1500s. This special gathering invokes the return of the sun in the depths of winter and therefore we invite you to leave behind old patterns into the fires, and invite the new energy in.

Our line up this year includes poets, singers and musicians producing sounds from folk, through to drone connecting hardware, spoken word and instruments such as harp, clarinet and tape. With more to be announced, artists include Aisha Vaughan, Outland Sea, Grahl (Laurel Morgan), Zaffar Kunial, Mochyn Daer, Mod Cog (dbh), Spaceship Mark as well as a hybrid DJ set of frequency driven records and hardware from adam and AHRKH to close.
